As we wrap up another fantastic season of Highland Youth Football & Cheer, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make it a success!  

 

To our awesome players and cheerleaders: your hard work, growth, and enthusiasm are what make this program so special.  

 

To our incredible coaches: “A good coach changes a game. A great coach changes a kid’s life.”-  We truly appreciate all the time, energy, and dedication you've poured into this season. Our kids future is bright because of you.  

 

To our wonderful families, volunteers, and Board members: whether you were working the chains, running the concessions, helping with fundraising, or setting up and cleaning up, you are the heart and soul of HYF&C!  

 

This season has been filled with early mornings, late nights, exciting plays, cheering sidelines, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of every kid who wore "Highland" on their uniform this year.  Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being a vital part of this amazing community.

HYF&C Debut on New Turf: Community, Volunteers, and Sponsors Make it Possible

Our athletes played their very first game on the brand-new turf field at Highland High School this past Sunday, and it was truly a day to remember.

 

A heartfelt thank you to Minard’s Family Farm Beverage Company for generously donating the food and drinks for our Husky Hut during the game, your support means so much to our program.

 

We also want to recognize and thank all of our incredible volunteers who pitched in to make the day a success, as well as the HCSD Board and Athletic Department for giving us the opportunity to showcase our athletes on this beautiful new field.

Highland Youth Football Camp Wrap-Up – A Week of Growth, Grit, and Greatness!

 

The 2025 Highland Youth Football & Cheer Camp has officially wrapped, and what an incredible week it was! From the first whistle on Monday to the final cheer on Thursday, our athletes brought unmatched energy, effort, and enthusiasm to the field each day.

Throughout the week, players across all divisions sharpened their skills through speed and agility drills, position-specific fundamentals, team-building activities, and fun competitions. Our coaching staff, led by a dedicated group of volunteers and supported by varsity athletes, focused on building a strong foundation in technique, teamwork, and discipline—all while making sure every participant had fun and felt supported.

We want to extend a special thank you to the Highland Varsity Football team and coaching staff for their outstanding leadership and support. Your presence, guidance, and encouragement meant the world to our young athletes.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Logan Ellison and Logan Howard for leading the charge and making this more than just a capstone project—it’s now the foundation of what we hope becomes an annual developmental tradition for Highland Youth Football for years to come. Your vision and dedication have created something truly meaningful for our entire community.

We also want to recognize and thank the incredible group of athletes who stood out this week and contributed to the camp’s success, including:
